Lauren Paige Kennedy is a freelance writer and editor, devoted mom and dog lover, and occasional painter. She never planned to live in Peterborough, Ontario; Kenosha, Wis., Racine, Wis., Rockford, Ill., Madison, Wis., Minneapolis, Minn., New York, NY (Manhattan and Brooklyn); Oxford, UK; Washington, D.C.; and Los Angeles, Calif., but that's how life worked out.
And it's never, ever been boring.
She's served on staff at the Star Tribune newspaper, Disney Publishing, New York Magazine, Condé Nast Publications (NYC and London), Washington Flyer and WebMDMagazine. She's also published a travel book and is currently shopping a new novel, #TheChange, while busily working on a memoir-like collection of musings, Keeping Mum: On Mothers & Mortality. These days she's based in the Greater New York area and is thrilled to be back on the East Coast writing, mothering and, yes, occasionally painting.
